Necromanteion
A general view of the exterior part of Necromanteion.
Before enter the North corridor.

View of the North corridor...

....and the back side. Necromanteio is still charming.

Great view just before Labyrinth.

Entrance to the main sanctuary.
Going down to the underground (main) chamber.
The low light plays with the arches creating enigmatic shadows.

Acheron river
The first thing we saw.
Watch out the slick rocks.
The cold water can't make us stay out of the river.
The fountain gives us an atractive scene to capture.
This rock remind us the story of st. Donatos.
The spring of Acheron river, near Glyki,
the story says was cursed and the water couldn’t
been drunk, St. Donatos killed a monstrous
snake near by, exorcised the evil
and the spring water was pure again.
If you follow the river you can see the magic.
There are alot of living souls around and into the river
although we are right before the gates of Hades.
The rope bridge is over the shallows of the river.
You can cross the river by foot at this point if you want.
Your car should be the last choise if you don't want
to lose a nice experience.
The kayak boats to the river bank are ready for extreme sports lovers.
