Necromanteion, Acheron, Parga | One trek, an overnight stay camp, dozens of memories, part II

We couldn't cover all this delightful journey with just a small article, so we are back to tell you more about it. So many things to talk about and show.
Enjoy...

Rafting
We already had the necessary information about the available activities close to the river banks but people were ready to help us and give more information to help us enjoy our little trip.
New experiences are always welcome. So, soon we got into the raft together with our guide. We prefered rafting over kayak 'cause it was the first extreme sport experience in river for all of us. Rafting was easier and, as we could be all in the same raft we could take some photos all together.
We hadn't have to pass thought white water, so we could relax from time to time and take some shots or do absolutely nothing and enjoy the great view. After 3 kilometres (about 1,9 miles) and 18 minutes later we were in the end of the route, happy for this fun experience.

The mountaineering route
Before leaving Acherontas there was one more thing to do. The mountaineering route, parallel and above the part of the river we swam through a few hours ago.
We crossed a tunnel that looked more like small cave with two entrances and followed the main path. We walked uphill for about 50 minutes and then dowhill untill we were again down to the river. It was the end of the route and we were to the Acheron bridge.
It was an easy route even for beginners. A few pictures and about half an hour later we took the way back. About an hour later we were back to our car ready to start for our next and last -for this trip- destination, Parga!

In Parga
After the all day adventure we were now to the place that we would spend the night. The tent mount was necessary before do anything else. We were already tired enough to postpone it.
After a visit to the cool and clean sea of Parga we took a quick shower back to the camp and got ready for Parga by night. Most of cafes and bars are to the other side of the hill so we walked up, saw the fortress and went to the cafe-bar inside for some refreshments.
Down to the port, first for some food and after for a beer to a rock bar. The last chalenge of the day was to walk back to the camping. It was great, but the next day would be only and only for resting!

Tips:
If you visit Acheronta, pay attention to those who work there. They can give you every information you need to enjoy the place even better.
If you take the mountaineering route next to the river have in mind that you gonna spent more than two hours there. Make sure you have enough water, a hut and a sunblock.
